Hello and Welcome!

My name is Kerri Keledjian, founder of Beyond the Chalk. A little about me, I have a B.S. in Child Development from Mount Ida College, Newton, MA. I am currently enrolled at Bay Path University working towards my M.S.Ed. in Reading & Literacy Instruction. I am also certified teacher in the states of Illinois and Massachusetts. My teacher licensure in Illinois is Birth-3rd grade and in Massachusetts,  PreK-2nd grade with or without disabilities. I am also EEC Lead Preschool Teacher Certified.

I also attended Lesley University and completed graduate credits in Number Theory, Number and Operations, Functions of Algebra I & II (4.0 GPA)

I am trained in the Orton-Gillingham Approach, a complete multi-sensory approach to reading for students with or without dyslexia.

I am also extensively trained in Handwriting Without Tears. A fun, multi-sensory approach to learning handwriting for PreK-5th.

Over the years, I have also worked for several public school districts as a paraprofessional in Massachusetts, including Newton, Beverly, and Sudbury; guiding and educating children of all ages and abilities - elementary through 9th grade.

For the past thirteen years, I have worked with many wonderful families, tutoring children one-on-one, helping them become successful in their areas of academic need. In fact, I am still working with some of the same families I started with many years ago!
